Join us on the stunning island of Rab, Croatia, for a special edition of one of the most inspiring underwater imaging events in the Adriatic. Since its first edition, the MARES Underwater Photo Marathon Cup has brought together underwater photographers, videographers, and diving enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond - creating unforgettable memories, lasting friendships, and exceptional images beneath the surface.

Whether you are an experienced underwater photographer or entering your very first competition, we invite you to become part of this milestone event.

Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to all certified divers with a minimum qualification of Open Water Diver or equivalent.
Competitors may participate using:
• DSLR cameras
• Mirrorless cameras
• Compact cameras
• Mobile devices in the Compact Category.

Registration
Registration is now open.
We encourage all participants to register as early as possible, as the number of competitors is limited and accommodation packages are available only while rooms last.

Registration Packages
Option A – Competition Package (€150)
Includes:
• Competition participation.
• Official competitor package.
• Dives during the competition day.

Option B – Full Package (€300)
Includes:
• Competition participation.
• Official competitor package.
• Dives during the competition day.
• Two nights' accommodation, 11–13 September 2026.
• Half board in a shared double room.
Available while hotel rooms last.

Option C - Waiting List
If the accommodation package is fully booked, competitors may join the waiting list. Should a room become available, participants will be contacted immediately.
Competitors are also welcome to participate while arranging their own accommodation.

Awards
The best underwater photographers and videographers will compete for valuable prizes, category awards and special recognition.
